Acceptance!

After sending in my full application, we waited about 6 weeks to hear whether or not Japan accepted my application. They did!! They don't have a guaranteed host family for me yet, so it's not 100% definite whether I'm going or not, but they're looking right now. I am so excited! Every day this gets more and more real for me!

In school, I got a part in the Spring play. I've never been an actor before; I've always done crew (building the sets, backstage help, etc.) I miss crew a lot but its fun being an actor for a change. I am going to miss theatre if I go to Japan, though :( I wonder if they're big on theatre there as well.
